Debug message flood (Linux build)

Since the end-of-2013 versions, there has been a HUGE flood of debug messages if SoulseekQt is started from console.
Whenever you start from console, you ARE expected to get debug messages; however, less probably these pretty useless ones:
-142 or fewer items to remove, skipping, 225 milliseconds elapsed.
-173 or fewer items to remove, skipping, 473 milliseconds elapsed.
I counted about 30 lines of these messages when I left SoulseekQt running for just a few hours.
I wonder if these might not be removed for release builds (whilst keeping them in debug builds, that would be sensible)
