Russian messages from Qt are not displayed as expected in NS version

Everything is fine in Qt if I set encoding to 1251 but all my messages from Qt is not readable inside old version (NS). Is there any way to solve this?

I'm afraid not. SoulseekQt uses Unicode to communicate international characters. I can't make this conditional if Unicode is ever to become a standard on Soulseek.
