Privacy concern about folder path

Hi,

I just got SoulseekQT up and running, and I want to start sharing my music library. So far, I think I know how to do it, but I have a concern about privacy. Do other users see the full folder path the way I see it on my computer (user/johndoe/music/etc.)?

The concern being that my Mac username is my real name.

I looked into renaming the home user folder, but it seems risky and time-consuming.

Perhaps use a secondary drive/partition? That's what I do, seems to work OK. Just shows:
F:\Music or whatever.

This is an entirely understandable concern. I've still to come up with a good mapping scheme that would ensure the full pathname isn't visible but can also handle the various possible combinations of folders and their subfolders being shared under different permissions. I'll have to give it some more thought.
