Can't login

Using Mac OSX 10.6.8

Downloaded SLSK QT a few days ago (latest version 9/26), signed up for account via the website, but keep getting the "Login Failed" message. Now obviously the pass and user I'm using on the programme is the same one I'm using for the website and even though I've tried to restart the programme several times and reset my pass on the website several times as well, using new passes on the programme, I just can't get it to work. So either there's sth wrong, or I'm doing sth incredebly stupid. Either way, all help welcome.

This isn't a SoulseekQt specific issue, and I wouldn't normally address this sort of problem on this forum, but I'll leave this here for future reference (see our regular forums for general support.)

To answer your question though: Soulseek registration and registration on the website aren't related. The only requirement is that the username you pick isn't already used by someone else. If you're only trying different passwords, try different usernames as well.

I had the same doubt. It's weird, because now I have different usernames: 'quetzalcoatl' on the website and 'tezcatlipoca' on the programme.
