I was wondering if anyone else found the X's to close tabs in the new scarlet fire build to be a little out of place? I love the UI overall it is very clean now but the X's used to close tabs to me just seem off. I know it is a stupid and almost random suggestion but I just wanted to throw it out there. I think the UI would be absolutely perfect with just some basic X's like the old build.

Seems like it would better fit the simplicity and clean edges of this new UI skin as well.

Yeah, I don't really like how the hand-drawn look of the Xs doesn't match the rest of the design.

Personally, I like that - it's part of the new Qt. It matches throughout the client, once the upgrade to a newer version of Qt was implemented.

The new close button is part of the Qt5 Fusion theme. I'll link here to a version that gives you the option of reverting to the default theme in a little while.

You can change the Qt style used under Options->UI. I recommend the WindowsVista style as an alternative.

I downloaded the new 8.11 build and it seems to auto-default to the old Vista UI or something. Which choice in the dropdown menu is supposed to be the "default" Qt UI that the previous 8.x release had? I'd like to switch it back to that one. Fusion?
