Locking up when adding shared folder on Linux

Just downloaded the newest version of Soulseek for 32-bit Linux and unpacked the tgz file, clicked on the soulseek icon, and went to add a folder of music to share. After clicking OK the program locks up. Anyone have any issues with this and know a way to get this working? I know I can download without sharing a folder, but I'd like to share with others using Soulseek.
