Soulseek crashing after I type in the search field

For the last few days I have been unable to download any files. I can log into soulseek with no problems but as soon as I type in the search bar and my results are loaded the program crashes and I have to close down as it's not responding. any help is appreciated

always when you report a bug/issues you should specify which version are you using and in which OS, because developers can't guess what are you using.

I'm using windows vista and the latest version of soulseek

Hi,

I have had the same problem as banger1978 for months, regardless of the Soulseek versions I have used.
I have just downloaded the 2014-1-8 build and tried to search files, to no avail.
Actually, my PC freezes after 5 minutes and I have just to reboot it by removing the plug.
What's strange is that the downloads which I have the time to launch do run in the background of the freeze... until I unplug so that I can use my PC again.

Your help would be most welcome. As I have seen no improvement on this for months, I am currently looking for alternative ways to download music.
