Soulseek freeze everytime I try to use it

Hey there,
so it's been a month ago since I can't download songs and search for music on soulseek.
I download Qt versions of soulseek, installed and uninstalled twice every version...
Delete soulseek's files...and nothing happened.

It freeze right after I open the program.

I'm soulseek user since I was 19 or so. I don't want to stop doing it.

Windows version: 8 (64 bits) (Soulseek worked in this computer, with that windows version months ago so....I don't understand what's happening)

Help me please!

Every now and than I have the same problem, after a check on the old slsknt i saw that a user had queued over 10.000 files.
A PM. to that user solved my problem, so I think slskqt can't handle than manny Queued files...

You can limit the number of uploads a user can queue under Options->File Sharing.

Edit: I'll set a default limit to prevent this situation with new installations.

but soulseek freeze everytime I try to run it! Not just when I search something, i can't search anything 'cause it freezes and I have to terminate the process..,

I got this strange problem to. I use soulseek since the beginning and QT also. I never got any problem even with changing OS. I work on win 8 32bits right now. Never got any problem until some week, from one day to another soulseek are now freezing some time after the launching. i even don't have the time to go in option tab and looking for something to change before the freeze appear. I wonder if that can coincide with the last microsoft tuesday patch... the date 12/03 is near the last time i think my soulseek works fine.... i'm searching all the change from the patch to see if that could be that
