Crashes after using Search. I'm a Mac user---Please help.

I'm completely new to Soulseek. And I'm also a bit lost.
I downloaded the software today and for a minute I thought it would work perfectly and I'd have no problems at all. But unfortunately that's not the case.
I realized that SoulseekQt will only "work" (it opens and I'm even be able to say something on a chat room etc. but then it crashes after doing a search) after I restart my computer, otherwise it'll just keep crashing and crashing, showing a message saying: SoulseekQt quit unexpectedly.
So....is there anything I can do to get it to work at least "OK"?
