Downloads freeze
Hi everybody,
it's the first time I write here although I've been a user for more than a decade. I need some support as I've had quite a few problems lately, namely with downloads. Everything was working perfectly as usual until 2 days ago, when downloads started freezing. At first I was downloading just one file and it kept aborting the download, so I thought it was some problem with the other user I was downloading the file from, but after adding to the download list a few albums I saw that every download would freeze soon after starting. The status then turns from downloading to aborted, so it tries to move to another file just to get the same result and then again with another file and so on. Now it's been like this for two days, I've tried to close slsk and start it again, I started running it as an admin, I've changed the shared and download folder and try to run slsk again, but none of it has worked, so I've decided to write here for some help.

Sounds like a defective config file to me; try SLSK under a different User profile with the same settings; if it works your config is defective and must be deleted

I've tried logging in with a different username but it hasn't worked. The weird thing is that this problem started all of a sudden during a session, slsk was working perfectly, I just hid it and when I looked back the download was aborted. Also, I'm able to download stuff, but it's obviously incredbily slow, as the download works only for a few seconds, then it's aborted and it moves to another file in the queue only to do the same thing again. Is there any chance this might be due to the fact that I use more than one internet connection? Although I've done it for quite a while and it has always worked fine and now I have this problem no matter what connection I use.
Here's a small part of the diagnostics log, in the transfer queue box. If there's anything else I can post that might be useful just ask me.

Ok, I'm going to sound as the dumbest user in the history of this forum, but I have found out what the problem was. I had accidentally set the download limit to 1 kbps, probably it as a misclick or something and obviously never thought of looking to it, I have noticed it now, changed the limit and everything is working again. Sorry for the inconvenience

:-) That has happened quite often and is hard to trace, but the timeouts (buffer underruns at your site + overflows by the sender) are the index marker for it.
