mac client: extra audio snippets at end of tracks?

I'm having a problem that doesn't seem to be addressed anywhere else on here - most of my downloads have some extra audio content in the last 10-15 seconds. sometimes it's a jump back to earlier in the track; sometimes it switches between clips from simultaneous downloads as if it's changing radio stations. I recently switched to the latest Mac client [2/1/12] with Snow Leopard. Is anybody else experiencing this?

i've used the windows client for years without problem. since switching to the mac version, my downloads are regularly unusable. i'm not a programmer, so i won't try to guess where the problem is, but it's so prevalent since switching to this version that i have a hard time imagining i'm the only one affected.

I'd like to hear from people who've had a similar experience. I don't seem to have this problem on the Windows version of SoulseekQt, and my ability to test on Mac is somewhat limited, but if this is a commonplace problem I'll do my best to try and reproduce it.

Okay, I'm downloading three different folders from three different users simultaneously in the OSX virtual machine. Let's see what I end up with.
